Below you will find links to on-line quizzes of
recent NY State Earth Science Regents Exams. All of the questions
come from the multiple-choice sections of the exams (Parts A & B1). Each
time you take a practice quiz, the questions and answers will be re-ordered.
This will help prevent you from just memorizing answers and hopefully it will
allow you to gain a better understanding of the material. We have created
the quizzes so that if you should get an answer wrong, you will know immediately
when you push the "next" button. If the question is correct, the computer
will take you directly to the next question; however, if you are incorrect, an
explanation will appear describing what the correct answer is and how the answer
was calculated and/or determined. To fully prepare for the Earth Science
Regents, you should also practice Parts B2 and C which include constructed
response questions.
